Peregrine moon lander burns up in Earth's atmosphere today

Astrobotic's crippled Peregrine moon lander will crash into Earth over the South Pacific today, 10 days after a fuel leak doomed its chances of landing NASA and other commercial payloads on the moon. The spacecraft will burn up in the atmosphere over a remote stretch of the Pacific Ocean and you can see where here.

How to watch SpaceX's private Ax-3 astronaut launch today

SpaceX will launch its next private astronaut mission for Axiom Space today, called Ax-3, that will send four people it to the International Space Station. It's SpaceX's first all-European private launch on a Dragon capsule. Liftoff is at 4:49 pm. EST (2149 GMT). Here's when and how to watch.

Water ice buried at Mars' equator is over 2 miles thick

Europe's Mars Express orbiter has detected enough water ice buried beneath the Red Planet's equator to cover the entire planet in a shallow ocean if melted. While it's not the first time that evidence for ice has been found near the Red Planet's equator, this new discovery is by far the largest amount of water ice detected there so far.

The delays in NASA's Artemis moon program are making some members of Congress nervous.
