NASA's Juno spacecraft flew close to Jupiter on Jan. 12, capturing a stunning new view of the planet and two of its moons, lo and Europa. NASA unveiled the view on March 16.

Aquarian Space aims to deliver high-speed internet at the moon (and maybe Mars)

The startup has raised $650,000 in seed money and aims to launch a lunar satellite by 2024. Aquarian Space announced the funding from Draper Associates March 17 as a step toward bringing high-speed internet between the Earth, the moon and Mars in future years

Russia says it used a hypersonic missile in Ukraine for first time

Pete Davidson's spaceflight replacement is Blue Origin's Gary Lai

Jeff Bezos' spaceflight company has tapped Gary Lai as the sixth crewmember on its upcoming NS-20 suborbital mission, which is scheduled to lift off from West Texas on March 29. That slot had been reserved for Pete Davidson, but the "Saturday Night Live" star backed out due to a launch delay.

Russia dismisses reports that cosmonauts' yellow and blue flight suits referred to Ukraine

Russia's space agency Roscosmos has dismissed reports that three of its cosmonauts wore yellow and blue flight suits on the International Space Station in support of Ukraine. "Sometimes yellow is just yellow," Roscosmos wrote Saturday.

SpaceX to launch OneWeb's internet satellites, replacing Russian rockets

OneWeb has found a new ride for its internet satellites. The companay has launched 428 broadband spacecraft to date, all of them using Russian-built Soyuz rockets operated by the French company Arianespace. But Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine made that situation untenable. And so, SpaceX has stepped in.

SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches record 12th mission, lands at sea

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket flew for an unprecedented 12th time early Saturday and came back down to Earth for yet another successful touchdown. The two-stage Falcon 9 lifted off from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 12:42 a.m. EDT (0442 GMT) on Saturday, carrying 53 of SpaceX's Starlink internet satellites toward low Earth orbit.
