Andreas Mogensen of the European Space Agency said he supported International Space Station managers' decision to postpone what will be his first spacecwalk after a radiator leak on the outpost's Russian segment. The spacewalk will now run no earlier than Oct. 19.

Follow the Oct. 14 solar eclipse this week with SkySafari

Search for Life

NASA's Perseverance Mars rover is on the move!

NASA's Perseverance rover will soon head to its next destination on Mars: a geological junction called Jurabi Point, where it may get another crack at drilling a Martian boulder. Although the rover successfully gathered several samples from softer rock, Perseverance's last attempt to crack a hard boulder — the "Dragon's Egg," at the Lost Lake region of Jezero — was unsuccessful.

Rocket boosters arrive in L.A. for space shuttle Endeavour

They may not be as iconic as Endeavour or as large as the orbiter's external tank, but the sight of twin rockets moving through the streets of Los Angeles was enough to once again draw a crowd to watch the space shuttle components being delivered to the site of their future display at the California Science Center.
