It's official: Starship has been cleared for its second-ever liftoff.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration announced Nov. 15 that it has granted a license for the second launch of Starship, SpaceX's next-generation space transportation system. The launch is now set for Friday, Nov. 17, at 8 a.m. EST (1300 GMT). SpaceX is hoping this second time will be the charm after months of launch pad repairs and Starship/Super Heavy booster upgrades following a failed first launch test on April 20.
