Scientists have discovered something spooky and strange occurring at the edge of the solar system where the sun's solar wind is in equilibrium with the interstellar medium, the material between the stars. What is the name of this boundary?
The sun appears very 'happy' today in NASA's latest Solar Dynamic Observatory (SDO) images. But don't be fooled by its cheery appearance - that 'face' is spewing vast streams of solar wind that could trigger a solar storm on Earth.
SpaceX will launch another big batch of its Starlink broadband satellites and land a rocket on a ship at sea Thursday (Oct. 27), and you can watch it live.
