Tiny CAPSTONE probe reaches the moon!

A tiny NASA spacecraft's historic trek to the moon is over. The 55-pound (25 kilograms) CAPSTONE probe slipped into orbit around the moon on Sunday evening, becoming the first cubesat ever to visit Earth's nearest neighbor.

In late 2019, the star Betelgeuse dimmed by about 60%. While it's impossible to say with certainty exactly what caused it, new research suggests that a wandering companion may have played a role.

It may have even been a black hole.

China launches Tianzhou 5 cargo ship to space station

Former astronaut Mark Kelly re-elected to US Senate

Former NASA astronaut Mark Kelly has won re-election to the United States Senate in Arizona. Kelly joined NASA as an astronaut candidate in 1996, in the same class as his twin brother, Scott. Mark Kelly spent a total of 54 days off Earth across four space shuttle missions, the last of which flew in 2011.
