SpaceX Ax-1 astronaut flight to space station delayed to April 6

"NASA, Axiom and SpaceX are now looking at no earlier than April 6 for the launch of Axiom Mission 1 (Ax-1), the first private astronaut mission to the International Space Station, pending range approval," NASA officials wrote Monday.

If an exoplanet's atmosphere contains methane, the chemical could be a sign of life - as long as planetary conditions meet certain criteria. Researchers from the University of California, Santa Cruz, have now established a framework for those conditions to guide scientists evaluating alien worlds.

NASA's 2023 budget request cancels SOFIA flying observatory
