На заседании Ученого совета ИТФ в пятницу 29 декабря будут заслушаны:

1) Доклад Директора о текущем моменте

2) Михаил Берштейн
*Старшие вектора в косет конструкции*

Мы изучаем классическую косет конструкцию, предложенную
Годдардом-Кентом-Оливом. Мы находим формулы для векторов старшего веса в
косет разложении и вычисляем их нормы. Мы также находим формулы для
матричных элементов естественных вершинных операторов между этими
векторами. Это приводит к соотношениям на конформные блоки. Благодаря
АГТ соответствию эти отношения эквивалентны соотношениям раздутия на
функциях Некрасова при наличии поверхностного дефекта. Эти соотношения
можно использовать, чтобы доказать формулы для тау-функций в уравнениях
Пенлеве. (следуя методу Некрасова). Как ещё одно применение, мы
доказываем новые формулы для интегралов Сельберга.

*Поглощение инерционных волн геострофическим течением: теория и эксперимент*

Мы рассматриваем взаимодействие инерционных волн с геострофическим
течением в быстро вращающейся как целое жидкости. В соответствии с
условиями эксперимента [1] мы полагаем, что инерционные волны
возбуждаются источником, локализованным в пространстве вблизи границы
течения, и затем распространяются в область, где присутствует вихревое
геострофическое течение. Сначала в приближении квази-однородности
геострофического течения мы рассматриваем эволюцию волнового пакета
инерционных волн. Мы показываем, что эффект Доплера с учётом закона
дисперсии инерционных волн приводит к тому, что волновое число пакета
может обратиться в бесконечность в определённой точке пространства. Для
того, чтобы исследовать этот процесс через анализ волнового уравнения,
мы рассматриваем задачу о распространении инерционной волны в постоянном
во времени сдвиговом течении с прямыми линиями тока. В этой задаче
имеется однородность по координатам вдоль оси вращения и вдоль линий
тока сдвигового течения, я также по времени, что даёт возможность
получить одномерное волновое уравнение вдоль направления изменения
амплитуды сдвигового течения. Мы показываем, что поглощение волны
сдвиговым течением возможно, если амплитуда изменения сдвигового течения
в пространстве превышает некоторый порог порядка фазовой скорости волны.
Математическое описание процесса поглощения волны эквивалентно
квантово-механической задаче об одномерном падении частицы в
квадратичном потенциале -1/r^2. На основании построенной аналитической
картины мы интерпретируем недавно полученные экспериментальные результаты.

Private moon lander's SpaceX launch delayed a month

Intuitive Machines, which had hoped to launch its robotic IM-1 mission no earlier than Jan. 12, 2024, will now wait an extra month to launch with SpaceX. In the 1930s, when physicist and engineer Karl Jansky pointed his radio antenna towards the center of our galaxy, he detected a continual source of radio waves. Launch of Axiom's 3rd private astronaut mission delayed

SpaceX's next private astronaut launch has been delayed until mid-January. The company had been planning to launch Axiom Space's Ax-3 mission to the International Space Station on Jan. 9. На заседании Ученого совета в пятницу 22 декабря в 11:30 будет заслушан
доклад:

*Развитие теории магнитосопротивления в слоистых квазидвумерных металлах*

Развита теория поперечного магнитосопротивления в слоистых
квазидвумерных металлах. По формуле Кубо-Стреды в одноэлектронном
приближении рассчитана холловская внутрислоевой проводимость в магнитном
поле, перпендикулярном проводящим слоям. Получены аналитические
выражения для амплитуд и фаз магнитных квантовых осцилляций (МКО) и
разностных (так называемых медленных) осцилляций (РО) и применены для
анализа их поведения в зависимости от нескольких параметров:
напряженности магнитного поля, интеграла межслоевого переноса и ширины
уровней Ландау. Также находим тензор магнитосопротивления вдоль слоев,
поскольку именно магнитосопротивление чаще всего измеряется в
экспериментах. Также исследуется поведение межслоевого
магнитосопротивления Rzz
в слоистых квазидвумерных металлах в углах Ямаджи, то есть углах наклона
магнитного поля, при которых наблюдается минимум межслоевой
проводимости. Рассматриваются случаи лоренцевой формы уровней Ландау и
формы, соответствующей самосогласованному борновскому приближению.
Теоретически предсказана зависимость Rzz∝B3/2в сильном поле, которая
согласуется с экспериментальными данными.
