Уважаемые коллеги!

В пятницу 15 сентября в 11:30 состоится коллоквиум, на котором будет
заслушан доклад:

*Когерентные состояния квазидвумерных экситонных поляритонов в условиях
резонансного фотовозбуждения*

Квазидвумерные поляритоны, локализованные в активной области плоского
микрорезонатора, могут возбуждаться резонансной световой волной и в
таком случае образуют макроскопически когерентные состояния, которые
рассматриваются в приближении среднего поля по аналогии с неравновесными
бозе-конденсатами.
Благодаря нелинейности поляритонная система оказывается мультистабильной
и в ней возможны быстрые управляемые переключения между альтернативными
когерентными состояниями, различающимися по амплитуде или поляризации.
В докладе обсуждаются экспериментальные и теоретические результаты,
касающиеся мультистабильности и параметрического рассеяния поляритонов;
рассматривается эффект спонтанного нарушения спиновой симметрии,
приводящий к образованию пространственных доменов, темных солитонов и
вихрей.
