The big story happened in the early hours this morning, as the private Axiom-4 successfully launched from from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, heading to the International Space Station. Ax-4 is carrying the first ever-people from India, Hungary and Poland on its voyage, making the launch a mission of many "firsts."

There were a couple of big announcements yesterday, the biggest being the first images released from the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in Chile. The Rubin Observatory's technology allows it to scan the skies 10-100 times faster than other observatories, meaning that these images are the beginning of something really big for astronomy.
The European Space Agency's Biomass satellite revealed its first images of Earth from space yesterday, using its radar technology to scan jungles, deserts and glaciers around the world.
