Hello, Space Fans! Happy Thursday and welcome to another amazing day in space. We start today off with new views of Neptune captured by the James Webb Telescope (with help from Hubble) that finally solves a long-running mystery: Does Neptune have auroras? See how it was done here.
After auroras on Neptune, we wanted to go BIG for this next story, which brings us to T Coronae Borealis, the so-called Blaze Star that has been on the cusp of exploding for awhile now. Today, March 27, is the first explosion prediction day from a new study watching its behavior. But if it doesn't blow, there's a back up date.

Space Deal of the Day
Changes are coming to Disney Plus (Ivan Marc / Shutterstock)
Season 2 of Star Wars: Andor is coming to a living room near you in April, and if you're hoping to find a deal on Disney Plus to watch it, you're in luck. Here's how to save 72% off a bundle subscription for Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Plus, just in time for March Madness, too!
Just a year ago, countless millions across North America were anxiously awaiting the "great North American total eclipse of the sun" on April 8. Now, less than a year later, on Saturday, March 29, another eclipse of the sun will take place, but it's quite likely that the prospective viewing audience will be considerably smaller.
If you can't see this weekend's solar eclipse, there's always planet watching. But when will the planets align in another stunning parade like earlier this year? Well, we're glad you asked, because our columnist has the answer.
If you can't see a planet parade, perhaps you can watch a "star" launch on her own. Today, superstar Katy Perry got an April 14 launch date from Blue Origin for her historic launch on a star-studded all-female New Shepard rocket flight. Here's what we know.
Speaking of Katy Perry and space fireworks, what about the biggest one in our cosmic neighborhood? We know that the sun has entered its peak phase of activity, called solar maximum. But are we still in it, or is solar maximum already behind us? Let's see what the data has to say.
One more firework pun (don't worry, they'll be back fro Katy Perry's launch), but SpaceX launched one of its own with its Starlink launch this week. In fact, there may be another one tonight! Here's what was onboard.
The (Hollywood) stars aligned on March 26 as Marvel unveiled what appears to be the main cast for its new Avengers: Doomsday film launching in 2026. While we hope they go back to space in this one, we'll settle for hopping the Multiverse.
On March 27, 1989, the Soviet Union's Phobos 2 mission to Mars' moons ended in failure. But the whole mission was definitely not a failure. Phobos 2 arrived in Mars orbit two months earlier and had been studying Mars and Phobos, the larger of the planet's two moons. During that time, it beamed 37 pictures of Phobos back to Earth. For the final phase of its mission, the spacecraft was getting ready to drop off two small landers on Phobos. One lander was actually something called a "hopper" that could move around on the moon's surface.
