Happy Monday, Space Fans, and do we have some space news for you. NASA's Artemis 2 moon mission returned to Earth over the weekend (more on that later) and our top story for today, now that the crew is back, is this: Artemis 2's commander Reid Wiseman has admitted to breaking NASA protocol, but his resaon is ADORABLE. Check it out above.

Artemis 2 was so awesome, we couldn't kick off with just one story today. So take a minute and bask in the specatacular photos the Artemis 2 astronaut took from the moon here as we look back at the best images from the flight.
And of course, that's not all. You'll see more Artemis 2 news below, as well as a look at the latest launch to the ISS, some asteroid Apophis news and more! Read on below!

Speaking of Artemis 2 photos, the cameras onboard were surprisingly down-to-Earth. Here's how to get your hands on the gear that has brought us so many stunning shots of Earth, the moon and space.

NASA's Artemis 2 astronauts called it "unreal." Now you can see for yourself what Artemis 2 solar eclipse from the moon looked like to four astronauts in a new NASA video.

A rare stargazing spectacle will unfold on Friday, April 13, 2029, as the asteroid Apophis passes closer than satellites over Europe and Africa in a true once-in-a-lifetime event. It may not be a solar eclipse, but here's why you may want to travel to see it.

There's more happening in space than just Artemis 2. A massive Northrop Grumman cargo ship just delivered more than 5 tons of supplies to the ISS. Here's how it happened.

Before Northrop Grumman's Cygnus XL could reach the space station, it had to hitch a ride to orbit with SpaceX. Relive how SpaceX's Falcon 9 not only launched it to space, but returned for a stunning landing.

When NASA's Artemis 2 astronauts returned to Earth, it was our first chance to see what a moon crew recovery would look like this century. In this photo, Artemis 2 pilot Victor Glover and mission specialist Christina Koch celebrate their Earthly return. See how it was made here.

For our history throwback today, we're going back to 1969 when NASA launched a new weather satellite called Nimbus 3. This was the third in a series to test new technologies for weather forecasting. See how it happened here.

Welcome to a new week in space! We may not have Artemis 2 at the moon anymore (I know, I'm sad, too), but we do expect to learn more about how the Orion capsule fared and how the crew is doing, so be on the look out for that at Space.com this week.
The 2026 Space Symposium is underway this week and we'll be there to bring you the latest.
Until then, keep looking up!
